Jeannie Mai, at 45, recently opened up about the heartbreaking challenges her two-year-old daughter, Monaco, is facing amid a messy and public divorce from rapper Jeezy.

The turmoil between the parents has made Monaco’s young life more complicated, with concerns mounting about her well-being as her parents’ separation grows increasingly contentious.

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai announced their separation in September 2023, with Jeezy filing for divorce and declaring their marriage “irretrievably broken.”

The couple had been together for over two years before Monaco was born in January 2022, making her only a toddler at the time of the split. While Monaco is too young to grasp the details of her parents’ breakup, the changes in her daily life—especially the separation of her parents—are undoubtedly confusing and potentially distressing.
