The recent drama began when Meghan Markle reportedly signed a personal gift to a friend with her former royal title, “HRH The Duchess of Suss3x.”

This small detail set off a flurry of speculation, since Meghan and Prince Harry stepped down from their official royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020. The use of the title, even in a private setting, raised eyebrows and reportedly angered Prince William, who is said to be eager to have the titles officially revoked once he becomes king.
