Trouble has recently surfaced for Trina Braxton and her husband, Benjamin “Swerve” Cars, following the revelation of a past incident that has now come to light.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Cars was arrested for battery in connection with a July 2023 altercation in Miami.

The incident involved a male pedestrian who, after Cars’ abrupt stop at a crosswalk, struck the back of his car. Accounts differ on what happened next, but the victim claims Cars aggressively called him over, and later, the confrontation escalated.

Cars allegedly tracked the man to his residence and physically assaulted him, resulting in a fractured nose. Surveillance footage reportedly supports the victim’s account, leading to Cars’ recent arrest and detention at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.
