Kevin Costner has been a major Hollywood actor for decades, and it seems he is also a charmer off-screen too, especially if we believe the rumors linking him to the recently divorced Jennifer Lopez.

Hola! reported that the two actors have been talking every day ever since they connected in Aspen, Colorado in December last year.

According to a source, “Since then, they’ve been talking pretty much every day, and the plan is to get together for dinner in the next couple of weeks when their schedules line up.” The source also divulged the Yellowstone actor’s romantic gesture. “At the moment things are still at the very beginning stages, but after they hung out in Aspen, he made sure to send her a huge bouquet of her favorite flowers with a little handwritten note along with a magnum of champagne.”

If the two will get together in the future, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” wouldn’t be the first lady Costner has swept off their feet.

Kevin Costner was married to Cindy Silva from 1978 to 1994. The couple share two daughters and a son. They divorced because Costner allegedly cheated on Silva while he was filming Waterworld in Hawaii. Since they did not have a pre-nuptial agreement, Costner reportedly paid Silva $80 million in settlement fees.

Bridget Rooney

Two years after his divorce from Silva, Costner dated actress Bridget Rooney. Their relationship was brief, but they had a son, Liam, born in 1996. There was a paternity scandal involving Costner and People reported he only acknowledged his son with Rooney after a paternity test. After making sure Liam was his, Costner “Set up a sizable trust fund for Liam, and visits him ‘occasionally but not on a regular basis.’”

Costner started dating handbag designer Christine Baumgartner in 1998. In 2004 they wed on his 160-acre ranch, The Dunbar in Aspen. The ex-couple shared three children together, making Costner a father of seven children.

In 2023, Baumgartner filed for a divorce. She contested their pre-nup which may have led to her forfeiting all rights to a payout. People reported the two reached an agreement via a joint statement, “Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.”

Kevin Costner was also rumored to have dated singer Jewel after photos of the singer sitting on his lap were published by TMZ. The photos were taken in a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation and Jewel is the organization’s founder with Costner as a guest.

But in an interview with Howard Stern (via CNN Entertainment), Costner cleared the air. “Jewel and I are friends. We’ve never gone out ever. She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She’s special to me. She’s beautiful enough to go out with.”
