Whoopi Goldberg recently spilled her own dating tea, admitting one of her last boo thangs was “40 years older” than her.
Whoopi Reveals Her Dating Past
She then chatted about her dating history. The actress admitted age is not a concern.
“I’ve gone up and down. Because your age is not what’s going to get me into your arms,” the 68-year-old said. ”
It’s not your age that I’m concerned about. Unless you’re under 18, in which case I can’t.”
Comedienne and co-host Joy Behar, responded, “A big gap could be problematic” for people over 60.
Whoopi’s teacup then toppled over the table, “One of the last relationships I had, he was 40 years older than me,” she said.
The cast appeared surprised by the revelation.
Whoopi’s Granddaughter Details Her Secret Romance
The host’s granddaughter, Amara Skye, seemingly outed Whoopi’s secret relationship in 2022. She later regretted being a chatty patty.
Skye told a fellow contestant on the ABC reality game show, ‘Claim to Fame,’ “She had a boyfriend that was, like, 90 years old, and she used to go hang out with him.”
Additionally, Skye gave a little TMI about her granny’s down-low relationship.
“Some old white man named John, and he was like a billionaire. She used to sneak off and have [sex] appointments, randomly.”
She later shared her regret with USA Today.
“No one knew about that — I barely found out about that,” Skye shared. “So I was just like, ‘Oh, man. I think I just put my grandma’s business out there, and I don’t really know if she’s going to be OK with this.’ But my grandma’s really, really cool and pretty open. So, I don’t think I did so bad.”
Her Upcoming Semi-Autobiographical Book Release
Whoopi’s reveal could have simply been a teaser for her memoir, ‘BITS AND PIECES: My Mother, My Brother, and Me.’ She made the announcement on Friday’s taping. The semi-autobiographical book will be released May 7 through Blackstone Publishing.
Ms. Goldberg tied the knot three times. The last union to Lyle Trachtenberg ended in 1995. She’s had high-profile relationships with Timothy Dalton, Frank Langella, and Ted Danson.
One thing about Whoopi — she doesn’t have a type.
