At 43, Christina Milian Breaks Down After Sharing Heartbreaking Details About Her Daughter
Moving to Paris may seem like a glamorous adventure, but for Christina Milian, it’s been a deeply emotional and complex life change—one that’s left fans both supportive and curious.
The singer, actress, and influencer has been in the spotlight for years, but her recent decision to relocate to France with her family, especially as her daughter Violet begins middle school, has raised questions about what’s truly going on behind the scenes.
Christina, who boasts over 7 million followers on Instagram, recently shared a heartfelt letter with her fans about their move to Paris. She included touching photos of herself and Violet, reflecting on their new chapter.
While Christina described the move as a “fresh start” and said Violet was excited to start middle school in France, some fans noticed that Violet seemed less enthusiastic in videos.
Understandably, moving to a foreign country and starting school in a new language is a daunting challenge for any child.
Despite these challenges, Christina revealed that Violet quickly made friends on her first day. Christina even joked about the embarrassment kids feel when their famous parents overshare online, showing her awareness of Violet’s feelings.
Still, fans wondered if there were deeper reasons for the move—perhaps tension with her French husband, Matt Pokora, or struggles left unspoken.
Christina’s romantic history has often played out in public. Before meeting Matt, she endured heartbreak with Nick Cannon, who she discovered was unfaithful after hacking his phone and reading his texts.
Their breakup was especially painful since Christina considered Nick her first love. Later, she married producer The-Dream, but that relationship ended in divorce after only ten months, following public scandal and betrayal.
After these turbulent relationships, Christina wasn’t looking for love. But in 2017, she met French singer Matt Pokora in a restaurant. Initially uninterested, Christina was persuaded to talk to him by the restaurant manager.
The connection was instant, and Matt boldly predicted they’d have a child together. He later moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Christina and Violet, and they welcomed two sons—Isaiah and Kenna—before marrying.
The family’s recent decision to move to France has sparked speculation. While Matt claims the move is for their children’s education and cultural exposure, some wonder if marital issues played a role.
Matt admitted that Christina and Violet would need help with the French language, but Christina has publicly praised Matt’s hands-on parenting and her happiness with their life together.
Christina has compared her relationship with Matt to her previous partners, emphasizing the genuine support and respect they share. She insists that the move to France is about embracing a new chapter, not escaping problems.
Despite her career’s ups and downs, Christina’s personal life is thriving, and she’s grateful for the love and stability she’s found.
As Christina settles into Parisian life, she’s focused on making the transition as smooth as possible for her children, especially Violet
. While fans may continue to speculate, Christina appears optimistic—embracing change and doing her best to create a loving home for her family in France.
Only time will tell how this new chapter unfolds, but for now, Christina is facing it with hope and resilience.
