The View brings a unique touch to talk shows with its multi-generational panel of women. Running for almost three decades now, the show continues to enlighten its audience with conversations and controversies.

The best part about the show has to be the revolving door of different hosts bringing their own spice to the conference table.

It has gone through a wide array of female hosts over the years but the ones currently seated are Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Since The View is one of the biggest talk shows of today, it’s natural for viewers to be curious about the hosts’ salaries. Let’s take a look at their reported incomes.

How Much do The View Hosts Make?

It goes without saying that the hosts’ salaries are directly proportional to the time they have spent on the show. In simpler words, veteran host Joy Behar would make more money than the newcomers Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro since she has been with The View since its inception (minus the hiatus in between).

Coming to the salaries, a 2022 report by The Sun claims that Whoopi Goldberg, who joined the show in 2007, is the highest-paid co-host with Behar following closely behind. Reportedly, Goldberg makes $8 million a year while Behar makes $7 million per year.

American lawyer and author Sunny Hostin (2016- present) has a reported salary of $1.6 million. Talking about Sara Haines next (2016-18, 2020- present), the journalist reportedly makes $1.5 million a year. Needless to say, quite a difference between these two paychecks and those of Behar and Goldberg.

And for the newcomers, Alyssa Farah Griffin and fan-favorite Ana Navarro, who both joined in 2022, their reported salaries are $250K each.

For better understanding:

Clearly, the women are doing well for themselves as they continue to entertain us with their fiery discussions on a wide range of topics. When these women sit around the table, sparks fly. There is laughter, tension, disagreements, and more. The diverse panel makes sure there’s something for everyone!

Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Salary is a Step up

Griffin is a political strategist who worked as the director of strategic communications and Assistant to the President from April 2022 to December 2022, during the presidency of Donald Trump.

Despite the important role she played in the White House, The Sun’s insiders stated that her $250K a year salary on The View is an upgrade from what she would have been making as a White House staffer.

According to the source,

For Alyssa who’s coming from the White House, The View salary would be a step up! White House staffers make no money.

While she received a warm welcome on the show, insiders report that the behind-the-scenes looked quite a bit different. Apparently, her co-hosts felt that Griffin wasn’t authentic enough and was someone who changed opinions based on where she was getting her money.

As per the insiders, fan-favorite Navarro who charmed the viewers with her unfiltered takes, authenticity, and sharp wit, especially felt disappointed with it all. The source stated,

Ana Navarro especially feels let down as they are hiring someone who was an essential part of the movement that destabilized this country.

While Griffin has criticized Trump since leaving her position at the White House, she remains a conservative in her beliefs.

The View is available to watch on Hulu.
