The View is taking a break just as the Easter holiday rolls around. Fans can understand the co-hosts wanting to take a break. However, there is a special reason they are not happy with the situation, especially as reruns are filling in the show’s slot.

The Co-Hosts Of The View Is Taking A Break For Easter

Fans have tuned into The View since 1997. Over the years, the talk show hosts a panel of multi-generational women who discuss current events.

Viewers have also seen different co-hosts sit on the panel. The current line-up includes Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

As previously reported, the show is currently taking a break until April 22, 2025, presumably ahead of the Easter holiday. In the interim, the show is currently airing reruns.

During the break, some of the co-hosts have been sharing videos from home as they enjoy their own holidays. Sara Haines, for example, shared a video of her kids and the family enjoying their time together.

 

Sometimes, when a talk show takes breaks, new content is still filmed beforehand, such as chats or segments. This at least gives fans something new to enjoy for the time being.

However, The View doesn’t offer new content when it takes a break. In fact, the talk show’s YouTube channel, which features full-length episodes, even uploads the reran episodes. That said, some fans dislike how the channel specifically doesn’t clarify which episodes are reruns.

Some Fans Would Have Liked More Of A Warning, While Others Think It Was Expected

Thanks to the episode being released on YouTube, fans have been sharing their reactions to the reruns being uploaded in the comments. As one fan noted, “When you are posting reruns please put it in the title of your posted video.”

Some have claimed that television airings of these episodes also make a point to remind viewers if something has aired before. One fan noted, “I knew I kept seeing prerecorded in the corner of my TV.”

Similar sentiments were shared throughout the comment sections. That said, some came to the show’s defense, pointing out that the co-hosts have been taking Easter breaks for years. A few even joked that it was the same show, anyway. Some other comments included:
