Porsha Williams is firing back at Phaedra Parks for claiming she was wrongfully “punished” for spreading a false rumor about Kandi Burruss years ago on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Porsha Williams Claps Back at Phaedra Parks Says for Saying She Was Wrongfully “Punished" False Rumor About Kandi: You "Apologized After for Telling Me the Lie"

Phaedra, 51, joined RHOA during the show’s third season, and she quickly became a fan favorite thanks to her lavish events, southern charm, and sometimes quirky personality.

However, this was all tarnished at the season nine reunion when it was revealed that she had spread rumors to Porsha, 44, about Kandi, 49, and Todd Tucker, 51. Phaedra falsely claimed that Kandi and Todd wanted to take advantage of Porsha, but she later confessed that she hadn’t heard this firsthand.

Phaedra recently interviewed with Jason Lee on the Jason Lee Show, and the two discussed a great deal. Luckily, The Bravo Shaderoom captured part of the conversation.

Jason began by inquiring about her return to the show after being terminated. According to Phaedra, “What’s crazy is I was punished for something no one even saw me do.”

She continued, “It’s like telephone. I mean, it is what it is.” Jason then emphasized, “Now you’re back with Porsha and you’re friends.” Phaedra responded, “Yeah, obviously, that bothered me. It was very, somewhat hurtful, but at the end of the day, I really love Porsha.”

Phaedra when on, “I mean, we have always gotten along perfectly so even after that moment, we didn’t say, ‘Oh, I’m never speaking to you again’ because at that moment, I knew I wasn’t happy in the job already, and I knew it was time for me to leave this job, but unfortunately, if you can’t make a decision for yourself, God will make a decision for you, and so the decision was made.”

Porsha is now responding to Phaedra’s surprising comments, as Porsha says Phaedra took accountability for her actions in the past and even apologized to her.

Porsha wrote, “@Phaedraparks you already apologized at the reunion and apologized after for telling me the Lie. Furthermore, I have already taken accountability with @Kandi for repeating what you claimed she said. Let’s move forward by truly learning from past mistakes.❤️.”

As for Phaedra, she also went on to briefly discuss her time away from the show. She said, “And I have never had a better seven years of my life.”

From there, Jason said that Phaedra took a hit and strongly implied that the blame was misplaced. He even said, “I was so mad at you for sitting there and letting the charades happen in front of all of us.”

She chimed in, “But they didn’t show what was really said. I mean because that’s the contract, and sometimes you just gotta realize… okay.”

She went on, “I mean, because I know better and I’m trained, and so I’m held to a higher standard than some of my colleagues because they know I know better, and so sometimes when you’re a little smarter than the average bear, it doesn’t always help you.”

In the end, Jason said Phaedra “gave a lot of grace.” When he asked her why, she responded with various facial expressions.

It’s worth noting that this line of conversation didn’t go over too well with fans who remember what happened. One person said in the comments, “Phaedra said a bunch of nothing. Keep in mind, Jason doesn’t like Kandi either. Reality is Phaedra will NEVERRRRRRRRRR tell the truth. EVERRRRR”

Another person commented, “Girl, it’s been years and you still won’t take accountability. Like, come on now!”
