Karlie Redd finally broke her silence after being involved in a burglary this week. Amid her arrest and charges, the ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ star also received an order to stay away from her estranged husband, Teleau Davinci Belton.

These life updates come after fans learned of a domestic incident between Teleau and Karlie in February and his subsequent filing for divorce.

Cops detained the celeb, real name Karlie Lewis, in Atlanta on April 22 after she allegedly entered private property and took personal items. Documents suggest the residence belongs to her estranged hubby, whom she privately married last year after a short-lived engagement.

A judge ordered the reality TV star not to return to the affected property and to stay away from Teleau Davinci Belton. She’s facing a first-degree burglary charge.

Given her statement, she might’ve been released on her 15,000 bond. Still, Karlie Redd’s mugshot made it to the internet streets and quickly went viral. Despite the arrest happening on Tuesday, the aspiring artist didn’t break her silence until early Friday Eastern time.

Karlie Redd Says THIS After Arrest & Court Order 

On Instagram, Karlie reposted a news package discussing her case and presented a statement from her lawyer, Steve Sadow.

Sadow said, “As everyone knows, Karlie and her husband are in the midst of a divorce proceeding, and her husband has previously been charged in Fulton County with family violence battery against her. I am very confident Karlie’s case will be resolved favorably.”

It’s unclear at this time what times she is accused of stealing and whether she made contact with T during the incident. In her IG caption, Karlie expressed gratitude for fans’ ongoing support and reiterated her lawyer’s statement.

“Thank you for all your prayers, support, and concerns in my DM’s and text messages! Love y’all,” she wrote.

She reposted the same news package and attorney statement on her IG Stories. She also shared a video of shopping with a friend. They held bags from Louis Vuitton and Saks Fifth Avenue. Redd also shared a selfie with an additional thankful message, writing, “Much love to the ones putting prayer hands together for me! Love you.” 

She also reposted messages from supporters.

What Happened In The Domestic Incident Between Karlie & T? 

While the details of the robbery are limited, we know more about what happened between Karlie Redd and her new husband two months ago. An arrest affidavit detailed the February 21 incident involving Teleau Davinci Belton putting his hands on Karlie. The ‘LHHATL’ star called 911 after an accusation about T pulling an all-nighter outside of their shared home escalated to physical violence.

While police acknowledged that Redd didn’t have any bruising on said date, she accused her estranged partner of punching her in the jaw and throwing her phones to the ground. T allegedly apologized afterward, but Karlie’s lawyer reportedly convinced her to contact authorities, who arrested and booked T.

Sometime after the arrest, he filed for divorce. A March hearing in the proceedings ended with Karlie being granted over $18,000 in monthly support beginning that same month. It’s unclear whether her recent arrest will impact the temporary spousal support.
