Yellowstone prequel 1923 has now come to an end with fans still in mourning as Alex (played by Julia Schlaepfer) and Spencer Dutton’s (Brandon Sklenar) fate was sealed.
Brandon quickly became a fan-favourite character in the series and viewers have been keen to find out what the 34-year-old star is up to next.
His upcoming project is called The Housemaid, a psychological thriller based on the 2022 novel of the same name by Freida McFadden.
The movie boasts a stellar cast, with Sydney Sweeney as housemaid Millie and Amanda Seyfried as Nina, the wife of Sklenar’s character Andrew.
Michele Morrone has also been cast as Enzo in the film, which is scheduled for a US release on Christmas Day 2025.

Filming officially wrapped in March this year, with the main cast appearing at CinemaCon in April to promote the movie.
The film follows Millie (Sweeney), a struggling young woman who is given a fresh start as a housemaid to Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Sklenar), a wealthy upscale couple.
She soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own – and they all appear to have blood on their hands.
Sklenar teased his new project during a chat to Variety at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, saying: “It’s very dark, dramatic [and] twisted.
He described his character Andrew as: “Norman Bates meets Patrick Bateman.”

“It’s not gory but it’s twisted. It’s out there for sure,” he added.
“I am a little unhinged. You very rarely get the opportunity to just let the cat out of the bag.”
The film is directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine.
Sklenar can also be seen in the recently released film Drop, about a widowed mother, Violet, who receives threatening messages during her first date in years.
The star plays as Henry Campbell, Violet’s date.
